Mykonos is part of the Cyclades, the group of Greek islands in the central Aegean Sea. It is a small island, with short roads: in a few minutes by car you can go from Chora, the main city, to the southern beaches.
Chora concentrates the life of the island. In the whitewashed streets there are restaurants, galleries and the houses of Little Venice, overlooking the water. Just above, the Kato Mili windmills have marked the horizon since the 16th century.
Arrival is simple. The international airport receives direct flights from Athens all year round and from several European cities in the summer, less than a ten-minute drive from the house.
